His brow knits at the pain of that grip, and as the second begin to tick by and air doesn't come, the pulse under Intensity's fingers begins to hammer. Pure animal instinct, wasting oxygen he doesn't have.

He makes no move to push Intensity off, though. Clearly this is all fine and normal. ]

Everything is fine.

Eventually, King will struggle and Intensity will win, and he can let him up.

And as the burning in King's chest and throat starts to become overwhelming, his eyes flutter closed. Morbidly curious how far Intensity will take this, but apparently not concerned enough to intervene.

All of this is fine. ]

[It takes another three heartbeats after King closes his eyes before the pressure is removed completely from King's throat.

The sounds of both hands being slamming down next to King's head signal that Intensity has changed positions yet again. Possibly tactics.

But he doesn't say anything.

Not yet.]

[ Well okay. Do what you like, Intensity.

King doesn't say anything either, though his eyes blink open sluggishly after a long few moments, lungs pulling in a harsh breath without him even noticing. ]

[Still looming over King as he slowly comes back to the land of the breathing]

Did I say you could take your eyes off me?

[ His eyes drift over to Intensity's, after a moment.

With quite a bit less generosity: ]

Were you just going to let me strangle you until you passed out?

Would that have solved your problems?

In fact, it would create more problems.

My original strategy was to brood by myself in my lab which you also took issue with.

[ The arm around him shifts so that he can run his fingers soothingly down the back of Intensity's neck. ]

[His reply to that is muffled into the front of King's shirt. Which is probably for the best because it is not G-rated.

[ He's not counting it, since he had to be thrown from a great height and then strangled for it. STEEP PRICE.

But his other arm does go around Intensity, holding on through the grumbling and complaining. ]

Then, do you want to relocate?

Too bad it is wasted on this ungrateful asshole.

Still muffled:]

Fine. I don't care where.

[puzzlekeeper]

[ Well then. He tilts his head to press a kiss to the side of Intensity's throat, then slowly urges him up so that he can give Blue Eyes directions. ]

[Some of the tension finally starts bleeding out at the kiss to his throat.

And when King does sit the both of them up, he wraps one arm around King's waist and presses his forehead up against his shoulder.

Very much dead weight.]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ That's fine. He's easier to deal with this way.

It's not too long before the hotel comes back into view, but instead of approaching fin's balcony or the front entrance, he has Blue Eyes loop around a few times until he finds just the right window -- slightly ajar, enough for him to pull open when he has Blue Eyes swoop in close. ]

[He slides off of Blue Eyes and into his room, gripping King's wrist and pulling him inside after him]
