Just settles back down against King's chest and enjoys the quiet for a few moments]

He just smiles a little to himself before shifting to press a kiss to Intensity's forehead, a mirror of what Intensity had done earlier. ]

Never encountered one though. Maybe they were too good at hiding it. Maybe Azzy never even bothered to show.

Or maybe the ratings were so low they instead only brought in Damned that wouldn't know subtle villainy if it bit them in the ass.

[ This isn't the most unexpected twist Intensity has led them down in even the past 12 hours, so, it's fine. ]

Then my rhetorical answer is yes. I'm disappointed. And tired. Of many things.

[The tension starts to bleed out of him (perhaps unintentionally) as Intensity shifts to give King better access. And also to give himself better access to he can run the back of his fingers along the line of King's collarbone]

Settled all the mysteries of the past that you were aiming for?

"All" seems like a lofty goal when I don't even know what to wonder.

But the two mysteries I was most concerned with... yes.

There's a little bit of that, yes. Any question about the past was bound to be that way.
