Um, well, he was upset about something—mm, we had a sudden permanent transfer.
But, ah—well, specifically, the reason why I bring this up is because it's not an isolated incident. Cobalt turned into a large feline creature suddenly toward the end of our sojourn outside of Tokyo-F, and according to him, there's at least one or two other people who've experienced sudden, temporary transformations.
[In a few minutes, there is the sound of metal wings beating outside and the thunk of Intensity jumping onto the balcony before Blue Eyes has landed properly. Because he's just like this.
He expertly did not land on any plants though. He is that gracious enough of a guest.]
What were you doing in Liar Hell. And, ah, what sort of relationship do you have with her?
...Um, I'm not trying to sound jealous or possessive here. Far from it. I hope you get along well with her. I'm just interested. You could say I'm invested in her well-being.
[Beyond the balcony door is a staircase going down, and the bottom of the stairs opens directly into the common room. Cobalt's in here, carrying a mug of something hot in each hand, clearly having just left the kitchen.]
Ah, hey! That was fast. Thanks so much for coming.
No, this is fine. [ THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE. ] It's probably much faster anyway. [ looks relieved to be anywhere that's not near the balcony and its vicinity. stupid plants. ]
[ ANYWAY, moving on - ] Thanks for coming~ I just need you to gadgeteer a few things together for me so I can give somebody a wicked gift. I finally have some extra points too, so I can pay you for your troubles. [ spins around and starts walking backward toward her room. ] But! like I said, I made something for you too. I gave up on woodworking some time ago, though that's definitely therapeutic.
