Sumire is the extrovert. Loves people. Wants to watch them grow for their own benefit. She hate lies and those who go back on their promises. Her story involves a people who prayed for deliverance, and what they got instead. And how sometimes if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.
Lantana described herself as "a loving sister; a self-made woman; a survivor; a lover of stories and those who write them." She hates prose. And I get the feeling she's the older of the two, but they didn't directly state that.
Okay. So. Sumire. She says they're new at running games, and they got into it because that's the sum of all the choices she made. At graduation, she took the hell option. She said she wanted something bad enough that she was willing to pay the price for it, so here she is, but the wish was only part of it. She wouldn't say what the only part was, but she gave me a hint: that belief in a cause is a strong motivator.
She says they didn't monkey's paw her or nothing on the wish, neither, and she hates lies so she wouldn't lie about it.
She said when she was little, she went to the beach with her sister once. And she built a little house out of driftwood on the sand. And then it washed away, and she cried, and her sister told her you can't build a foundation on sand and expect it to stay. It's the same thing for everything, houses and people and stuff.
So I asked, lies are like sand? And she said yeah. That if you build yourself on too many of em...
Anyway. She doesn't know how much they're gonna run games, cause they can't live together even though they wanna, and it's hard to coordinate. She's Azzy's. Didn't say who Lantana was working for, but she did say it's a different Prince. My money's on P.
I asked if they were demons, and she said her sibling was. Wouldn't gimme an answer on what exactly she was if not that, but she said her sister might call her an angel.
She said the wish wasn't a monkey's paw deal, too, and that they're not in it for pointless cruelty. They're in it more for - how'd she say it? Our welfare. Our salvation.
She told me I oughtta check out stuff by Charles Dickens, and start with A Christmas Carol - y'know, the one with the ghost dudes - cause it's got lots to do with the past, the present, and the future, and those're relevant to everyone.
She said you could change what the past meant to you, if you had the will to do it. That that was what the game was about - gaining new perspective.

... She told us to consider the story of fucking Scrooge.
[Sighs]
Well at least it's slightly less irritating than the story of Job.

...anyway, that's about all I got. Game started around then.

I'll see who else among the regulars chatted up our new hosts and tell you if I find out anything else.
