No, this is fine. [ THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE. ] It's probably much faster anyway. [ looks relieved to be anywhere that's not near the balcony and its vicinity. stupid plants. ]
[ ANYWAY, moving on - ] Thanks for coming~ I just need you to gadgeteer a few things together for me so I can give somebody a wicked gift. I finally have some extra points too, so I can pay you for your troubles. [ spins around and starts walking backward toward her room. ] But! like I said, I made something for you too. I gave up on woodworking some time ago, though that's definitely therapeutic.
[ once in the lab there's a sheet covering something at the center of the shop. ] No peeking. I'll let'cha in on it soon, but first things first.
[ she grabs a guitar and a sword and hands them off to intensity. ] Can you combine these things for me and then can we talk about making it shoot fire or something. Not sure how to do that short of adding a flamethrower to it, but I'm not sure that's a purchasable item from the shop. Fireworks? Blowtorch?
Don’t tell me this is the strangest thing somebody’s asked. [ leans against a table. ] Pointy bit facing down please. [ body. ] It’d be pretty unfortunate if you were to play it and then fatally stab yourself, yeah?
I’m going more for aesthetics here, but you know how some guys love functionality. Might as well be able to stab somebody will it instead of just bludgeon them to death.
[He mutters something which might sound like a grunt of gratitude as he busies himself lining up everything correctly so that the blade will come out as a decent angle.
And not askew and stab the musician in the knee or something like that.]
[ she lets him work in silence for approximately thirty seconds. that’s probably twenty-nine seconds longer than he thought she’d let him, so... small victories? ] It’s metal working, BTW. I like doing stuff around Tokyo-F with Griffin and Lumen, art stuff, so I figured this could be the next thing we try, but I wanted to try my hand at it first. It seemed fun. Kind of reminded me of something I might do back home.
[ wheels the chair a little closer. ] Bet you could fucken snap your fingers and make something sick, but [ waits until he’s not doing anything to playfully kick his leg. ] i guess we’ll see how I measure up to a pro. [ laughs and kicks off the ground to whoosh away. ]
[ she takes it and looks it over, giving it a smile after a couple of seconds. ]
Thanks. Any chance of making it shoot fire or something? [ sets it down and walks over to the center of the shop where the sheet is draped over whatever the hell she cobbled together for intensity. ]
But I guess that can wait cause it’s my turn. Ya ready?
[ she tugs the sheet off to reveal a metal statue resembling blue-eyes that's actually made of an assortment of different metals. she bought some of the materials... finders keepers for the rest! and, ok, she may not be the right color yet, but she didn't feel like getting high on spray paint fumes in her workshop and she'd kind of expected this plant thing to blow over by now... ]
[ anyway!!! ]
Oh! [ she laughs. ] And before I forget. [ throws the sheet onto one of the workbenches and then yanks a draw open to grab a cup noodle to set on the dragon's head. ] I didn't forget about you.

Anyway, Blue Eyes appears (with Intensity) exactly five minutes later. Not one minute more or less than that]

You going to come in? [ she steps back into the dorm and motions for him to join her. she is not going to step out onto the balcony. nope. ]
no subject
But inside he comes]
Should I use the actual door next time?
no subject
No, this is fine. [ THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE. ] It's probably much faster anyway. [ looks relieved to be anywhere that's not near the balcony and its vicinity. stupid plants. ]

Awkwardly.]
Where do you want to stab people? From the body of the machine? Or from the neck?

Do you have something I can use as a straight edge?

[ she wanders over to another work table and then comes back with a metal ruler. ] Here ya’ go. [ plops into the nearest chair. ]

Only half paying attention to all of that]
Who's Lumen?

[ gets out of the chair. ]
Is Blue-Eyes still out on the balcony?
no subject
Yes.

Not my problem if she breaks anything.

BRB!
[ already wandering out and back to the balcony to let her in. ]

[ presumably comes back with blue-eyes in tow! still definitely did not set foot onto the balcony because it’s full of evil. ]
Look who I found~!

Here.
