Lucifel-san lost his memories again, and apparently so did Doodleman-san from Zrael. History repeated itself, except this time Lucifel-san actually died. Levi-san arrived a few moments later and immediately killed Doodleman-san.

[Not quite sure what he was expecting as the victim/culprit.

Right? Honestly, I feel bad about Lucifel-san being killed, because... one of us should have realized that was a possibility, but I didn't know who was suffering from what effect. I really do feel bad! But at least he seems unphased by it? I think it was over so quickly that he doesn't remember what happened. And neither of them are likely to care when they get their memories back... so I just end up thinking, "well, that's unfortunate," which is fucked up on its own! I don't want to... to become desensitized to something like that, but... well, Levi-san's the real problem.

Lucifel and Doodleman are a complicated situation. They're from the same world. They both think that they're not human and should be treated like tools or weapons. And Doodleman isn't happy with how Lucifel is being coaxed into being more than just that. I wouldn't worry about their arguments with or without amnesia.

But yes - I could see Levi being an issue considering... everything.

The only reason I know what happened at all is because Levi-san wanted to apologize for potentially harming our reputation with other units. He said killing Doodleman-san like that was generous. This whole time I thought his persistence about getting along and units being able to work together was-- I don't know, some sort of slightly naïve optimism, and now he's in favor of murder, but only the kind of murder he personally sees as justified?!

Hate to break the news to you, Anubis. But your newbie is a self-righteous idiot. His retribution is allowed because his is just. And everyone else is just wrong.

No, you know what? I'm disappointed because I was actually starting to believe that maybe things were going to go better with sensitIV! And one of those things was that I might finally have someone on my unit who would both agree with me that holding petty grudges and killing other people senselessly was really fucking stupid, and actually speak up about it! But so much for that!

You're never got to get through to Lucifel. Or to this new fucking paladin on your unit. They're too fucking far off in their own head space to reign in. At best, you can minimize their blast radius. Or try to wrangle control from them.

Which is not going to be easy because they seem to be the loud squeaky wheels on your unit. And getting most of the facetime with the other units.

What are your thoughts about the rest of them?

... Loki aside. I've never met him but I've heard enough second-hand to not be impressed.

I can't give up on them. That would just... make things worse.

The rest of my unit... Sekhmet-san is serious, but she's too new for me to have more of an impression than that. Persephone-san is reliable for ordinary practical stuff but I feel like he'd rather fade away than actually show that he has feelings or opinions on things, so I never know what's going on with him. Sometimes it makes me want to scream. Nya-san is reasonable and kind half the time, and then he'll have these mood swings, and I don't know what to do. And I'm afraid Lavender-san is going to keep shrinking in on himself until he becomes a black hole instead of ever speaking up.

Oh, and Loki-san's graduating. Right into Hell's welcoming arms.
