I cannot understand why he would just pretend though. I know he hates me more than anything, I do not think he'd be able to control that sort of anger. But in case it was true that he did not remember, I told him I would just leave him alone.
Ummm, say there is someone you hated, but you forgot everything that person did to you. You end up being very friendly to them. That person then tries to become friends, knowing very well that you would be enemies again when they remember everything.
Once you remember every thing, would you not feel like you were lied to? Or that you were being taken advantage of while your memories were gone? Of course it would be easier to become friends if you can't remember the terrible things they did to you.
