At home, I usually fight with a scythe but I used to use a collapsable rod like this, so since wandering around with a scythe doesn't seem practical, I thought this was the smarter option.

It can definitely depend on the level of vampire. As far as I can tell, Level D vampires-- former humans handle sunlight much easier than those of us who were born vampires. Perhaps they retain that bit of their biology.

Though I probably wouldn't send one to spend the day under the hot sun on the beach without some proper protection.

She's on Pep. Her name is Ren, though the name she goes by here most of the time is Nova. She looks a lot like me, but she has silvery-white hair, and recently she cut it short, so now it looks similar to Zero's.

I keep hoping I don't collect anymore. This isn't the place I'd like to conduct a family reunion at. But as much as it bothers me, I am glad that Ren-chan isn't on Taisho.

No, no, honestly I think it's a lot easier keeping someone safe off of Taisho. We're not a popular unit and neither are we anyone's number one priority. If anything, we know we are guaranteed to be hit by at least two units for sure.

[ At the very least during a game. The other attacks on them are-- most likely because people are trying to avoid harming their loved ones on different units which just leaves Taisho as an easier target. ]

Ren-chan is on Pep! Pep! And while I sometimes feel...vexed... by some of their gameplay, there are not many units that dislike them at the very least and people think kindly of them. They're beloved. I think I have a better chance of protecting her from off unit than on. I've tried to form alliances with other units, and in the end, there are particular individuals who still view Taisho as the same unit it was before my time, and as a result, every single attempt has fallen through. [ Even when they made a contract with another unit.... ]

As for our priorities-- it depends. Fortunately, there is no one so coldhearted on Taisho that would target a person's child. And so everyone understands where my priorities are in a game. But even with that, we have too many units we care for which means we're always struggling to make difficult decisions. The only thing we can all agree on is that we want to play in a way that will cause the least amount of damage to others if we can afford to.

Was she around for the game where you were protecting your castle while giving or taking resources from other units?

I assume that is what you are referring to by vexing gameplay choices.

Mm... it's exactly game choices like that which leave me worried. Although fortunately, she wasn't there for the castle game.

It's not like I don't understand their desire-- but I'd feel a whole lot better about things if they could play a bit more selfishly. Though I think they've been reassessing some of their previous strategies. Regardless, I'll always fret over how that unit plays because I just don't want to see Ren hurt.

And Ren's thought on their play style? Is she for or against?
