[ the fingerpads seem to be, though the rest is mistlike in density - there's just enough feeling that, when a hand reaches to meet intensity's, he can barely feel the tiniest tug, with strength less than a child's. ]

Ah, I should say as well. Mentally speaking, there is something amiss in my own memory; I am somewhat able to identify the discrepancy, but since we're on the subject, it would be remiss not to bring it up as well.

For much of the beginning . . . period of time, that the maintenance had started, I was in my own hotel room. There, it felt as though seconds were multiplied and then multiplied again - by the time I had spoken to another person at all, it felt as though I was already made a resident of that Hell, from how long I felt I had been there.

[ with a pause ]

. . . I'm certain it must not have been the case, for I do recall the bus ride to that Hell in the first place. Still, the feeling is unshakeable at the moment.

Are you telling me that you felt like you had a whole life in Liar Hell? Even though we couldn't have been there more than a week at most.

I would hardly call being in a room for an unspeakable amount of time a "life" - but certainly, it feels like it's been much longer than that.

I haven't heard of anyone else going under a similar time dilation. Or being picked up by a production house during the trip.

. . . That's good. It's disorienting enough to feel this way, so if other people had to experience such an unfortunate thing as well, I'd be sad about that.

It's hardly more than an inconvenience. Moreover, I'm sure you have a lot on your plate, and I have little desire to unnecessarily add to your undoubtedly full itinerary.
