I keep a book. It seemed like a good idea, since I arrived during a time when no one remembered anything and people were turning grey.
[ uses his phone to unlock the room and then steps inside. the room has gotten an upgrade since intensity last set foot inside. it's a lot bigger, with a loft bed, reading nook, attached balcony, and a giant puppy... who seems excited that company has come over and is making a b-line for intensity. ]
[ henlo, fren. gandora rushes intensity the moment he sets foot in the room, but parks his ass at his feet and wags his tail furiously, because he is a good boy who will wait to see if intensity wants to pet him. ]
[ he disappears into the closet while gandora seems to grow tired of waiting, so he jumps up onto his hing legs, barking to warn intensity, his massive paws set onto his stomach as he leans up to try to lick his face but... ok, big as he is intensity is bigger. sad puppy is sad. he's just going to set his face onto his chest and stare up at him. hi. furiously tail wagging intensifies. ]
[ comes back out of the closet with a bottle. ] Gandora, down. [ the dog hesitates for a moment, because p- pets... but he goes down and then heads off to get a ball. he'll be back. ]
[Takes and pockets it equally carefully since he knows Yugi is a walking corruption smorgasbord at the moment. Please not to be getting any of it on him]
I think the two most popular pet choices here are cats and dogs and I feel like a dog is just more engaging... but that's also kind of what I'm looking for. I take him on my morning runs and we can go to the park and play fetch. He's just something to help keep my mind off of everything.
I also had a dog for about five minutes during one round of the battle royal and that was probably the best five minutes of that entire thing.
[ gandora has returned by this point with a ball, which he brings over to intensity. bonk. he gently pushes his face into his thigh, because, hi again, it's me... the giant dog. i have brought ball. play with me. ]
[ he takes a moment to think and... ] Gandora, be careful. [ hurries over and kneels down, circling an arm around him and tugging him back. he's got a couple of other glass pieces sitting on the desk that the ball had rolled under and it would have been a real shame if they had all broken. he's just going to get another ball for the dog, since he can't be bothered to fetch the other one right now. ]
Not since we went into the other Hell, no. I... don't think I've had any dreams, strangely enough.
[ also guess who is nudging his face into your thigh again, intensity. he barks to try to get his attention, but in doing so he kind of barks the ball halfway across the room. he doesn't seem to care and really just wants more pets. ]
[ he sees yugi every day. he doesn't need to see him right now. you, on the other hand, are new and exciting and so fucken tall. look at you! gandora sits at intensity's feet and just wags his tail. bark. ]
Her nightmare was bad, but I don't think it was that bad. If that's what happened though, I won't compl- wait, no, they stopped even before that. [ shakes his head. ] It doesn't really matter. I'm just glad they stopped, though I've probably just jinxed it.
It wasn't a walk in in the park, but I had a unit that was quick to remind me that it was nothing but a nightmare. [ gandora finally stops bugging intensity and finally goes over to yugi. he fits his giant head under his head and nuzzles it, bonking his head into his side. ] And it's not something I hadn't thought of myself, though she certainly did a better job of bringing it to life, I'll give her that. [ bravo, lilith. ] Anyway, hopefully nobody gets anymore nightmares.

So how much did you walk away with?
no subject
About half a dozen bottles. It pays to be quick. [ leans against the back and stares at the floor. ]
no subject
At least sometimes it does.

And it only took 83 days.

Punish yourself with worst case scenarios first and then you don't have to worry about demon-influenced nightmares.
