I think the two most popular pet choices here are cats and dogs and I feel like a dog is just more engaging... but that's also kind of what I'm looking for. I take him on my morning runs and we can go to the park and play fetch. He's just something to help keep my mind off of everything.

I also had a dog for about five minutes during one round of the battle royal and that was probably the best five minutes of that entire thing.

[ gandora has returned by this point with a ball, which he brings over to intensity. bonk. he gently pushes his face into his thigh, because, hi again, it's me... the giant dog. i have brought ball. play with me. ]

[Picks it up and tosses it absently. Somewhere]

It's just one more responsibility on top of everything else.

He's worth the effort. He helped with the nightmares.

[ gandora runs off to chase the ball, but it gets wedged under something and he can't get it. all of the whimpering. ]

[ he takes a moment to think and... ] Gandora, be careful. [ hurries over and kneels down, circling an arm around him and tugging him back. he's got a couple of other glass pieces sitting on the desk that the ball had rolled under and it would have been a real shame if they had all broken. he's just going to get another ball for the dog, since he can't be bothered to fetch the other one right now. ]

Not since we went into the other Hell, no. I... don't think I've had any dreams, strangely enough.

[ also guess who is nudging his face into your thigh again, intensity. he barks to try to get his attention, but in doing so he kind of barks the ball halfway across the room. he doesn't seem to care and really just wants more pets. ]

Maybe Lady Death's nightmare booted out all the other low quality ones.

[ he sees yugi every day. he doesn't need to see him right now. you, on the other hand, are new and exciting and so fucken tall. look at you! gandora sits at intensity's feet and just wags his tail. bark. ]

Her nightmare was bad, but I don't think it was that bad. If that's what happened though, I won't compl- wait, no, they stopped even before that. [ shakes his head. ] It doesn't really matter. I'm just glad they stopped, though I've probably just jinxed it.

It wasn't a walk in in the park, but I had a unit that was quick to remind me that it was nothing but a nightmare. [ gandora finally stops bugging intensity and finally goes over to yugi. he fits his giant head under his head and nuzzles it, bonking his head into his side. ] And it's not something I hadn't thought of myself, though she certainly did a better job of bringing it to life, I'll give her that. [ bravo, lilith. ] Anyway, hopefully nobody gets anymore nightmares.

Huh. So that's the solution then.

Punish yourself with worst case scenarios first and then you don't have to worry about demon-influenced nightmares.

About the Game Tower, so you really think it’s a demon? And has anybody ever, ah, done anything to it? Bad End, for example, since vandalism is kind of their thing.

It used to have a proper first floor lobby.

But after the idols trashed it all in the first few weeks and after the first few games, it was just removed to the open area it is now.

Also - the whole tower was lit up on the angel map. Not just a section of it.

Is that the stained glass stuff mentioned in the notes? [ then the dorms too? ] And why do you think the entire thing is lit up?

There's a planetarium on top of the Cultural Center in Shibuya.

[ the inflection in his tone speaks to his surprise. it's not that he doesn't believe intensity. it's more like he's glad there's an alternative, and a perfect one no less! the feelings truck has come back around for round 2, so his eyes have grown wet, though he's doing his best not to completely lose it. he smushes a hand against half his face and sniffles, giving intensity a nod. ]

I- I, ah, I figured. Might make it kind of a pain to... to tag... I wonder how much scaffolding is, h- heh.
