[ At the brush of Intensity's fingers, his wings unfold, stretching outward. His own fingers sliding up into Intensity's hair. ]

And it seems in doing so you've allowed me to capture the power of gods and rise from the dead.

[ And that's just what they know of so far ]

[He makes a soft exhale at that, and King will more feel than see that slow widening smirk]

It's almost like you don't believe in your own divinity.

[ His fingers shift, nails this time. ]

Does that make it your job to convince me?

[He exhales sharply through his teeth, head tilting forward with the motion as King's fingers dig into his scalp]

[A light, not-sane-at-all chuckle]

And I hope it does.

[And before King can counter, he leans down the rest of the way to capture King's lips again in a breathless kiss]

[ King grins into the kiss, not at all discouraged by the unhinged laughter. He even saves the next quip for after they're both kissed breathless. ]

I'll be sure to stubbornly refuse persuasion. For your pleasure, of course.

How benevolent of you.

[And it's Intensity's turn to use his nails. This time across the webbing of King's wings. Briefly looking over his shoulder to enjoy the reaction before settling back to look at King himself]

If ultimately futile.

Heh. There's no victory if you don't struggle. If I don't earn it.

Ah--

[ Sudden nails on uniquely delicate skin is sufficient enough distraction that he forgets any quip he might have been preparing. ]

[ He shifts in Intensity's lap, so he's more sideways than outright straddling him. Because that's... distracting.

He lifts his phone again. ]

Now keep your hands to yourself for a few minutes.

[ He says, like he isn't the one who jumped Intensity that time. ]

[Leans back against the pew, arms stretching out across the top of it as King starts fiddling with his phone again.]
