We don't know how the bodies get to Lady Death, do we? In or out of a game.

I've been assuming it works the same way transfers happen, or the same way they teleport us to the game tower.

Or maybe the ground opens up and swallows people whole, the way it happened when those guys bought "undo" from the store? That's the only time I can think of where people actually witnessed someone leaving Tokyo-F.

The circus master whisked us away from Tokyo-F easily enough. I can't imagine Lady Death couldn't do it as well.

But...

When we were visiting her, she did call for a minion. They were cloaked and wore a mask so I couldn't really say any more about her lackey than that.

Definitely humanoid. Though Liar demon or Vengeance demon or something else entirely, who knows.

Huh.

Well, the idea of a masked demon popping in to steal our unguarded corpses is definitely a spooky thought! I sure hope transfers don't happen this way, too. A transfer demon coming to steal us from our beds sounds kinda terrible!

Anyway. I'll keep an ear out for more information about all this. I'll let you know if I hear anything. And please let me know, too, if you find out anything about the death stuff, since that feels like something the revival unit should be probably be aware of.

More than one person has asked me about her in preparation for trying to take her head on.

It's short sighted and stupid. Not a single one of us can probably put a scratch on her. And the result is that you'll just belong more to Hell after the fact.

Wow, more than one person, huh? Were you able to dissuade all the people you talked to or are there more that paid her a visit that I don't know about?

I'm not under any illusions we can fight demons the way we are now. If we have any chance at all, it's probably going to be with strategy, cunning, and diplomacy, rather than the powers they, themselves, have given us for their own entertainment.

The only one I know who has went to Lady Death on purpose is Maki. If the others did, I never heard about it.

And having met her, I can tell you that she is a business woman first and foremost. Professional with a side of cruelty.

In that case we're probably better off trying to figure out what she wants and finding a way to leverage that.

My best guess is that she wants to see her son succeed. But, from the rumors we've heard, he's not her only son. Not by a long shot. What does she want? What's in it for her?

Well if you do meet her, don't ask her that directly. She took someone's eye out for that line of questioning.
