So you're interested in summoning demons?

It is, but I'm not sure how well it'd work here.

A also mentioned someone tried to summon a demon and it didn't go great. I didn't get all the details though.

A few demons have been summoned - with varying success.

The one he is referring to probably was the one that went the worst, but that's what one gets when trying to summon a Prince of Hell.

How'd they do it? Was the ritual anything like you saw in my memory?

By calling out their name. Some had offerings. Some had elaborate verses. But the demon's name was always a constant.

I'll keep that in mind. A summoned familiar is a demon that wants to have a working relationship with its tamer. It only makes sense to know their name.

Does that mean they only come out willingly?

[foxorcist]

That's where having the talent for it comes in. And even then, there's risks to it.

Except I don't remember what they are.

There's risks to everything.

But I suppose I should ask if you are a person interested in regaining your memories or not.

Summoning demons would be a useful skill. Or at least an understanding of the theory behind it.

Even if the mechanics of this world aren't quite the same.
