As if recognzing the tension between them, Blue Eyes unfurls a wing to drape over the both of them like a blanket.

King blinks in surprise for a moment before chuckling a little - one arm settling over Intensity's as his free hand brushes along her wing gratefully.

Perhaps blanket wings is something he should consider himself . . . ]

And while he does relax, bit by bit, there's no danger of him dozing off as there has been in times past. Though he does close his eyes against the feeling of those fingers in his hair, his own shifting to trace restless shapes over Intensity's free hand. ]

It will be his gloved metal hand, since the flesh one is currently tangled in his hair. Intensity keeps it slightly warm, rolling his wrist when King's fingertips drift to the edges so they stay on the cloth and don't make contact with the hot metal.

But there is too great of a chance that he would fuck something up if he said something, so he decides to be quiet for now.]
