[ he returns the kiss immediately, a bit of the tension leaving his body as he does. ]

Before pulling back to whisper against Izumu's lips]

What if you arrived after the Circus Girl had left with the others?

[ he opens his mouth, but seems to swallow down a lot of what he was about to say. he could give a long explanation about how what he expected to happen was different from reality, about how Mehniel was already going and somebody had to stick with them, but does any of that ultimately matter? ]

Going back without you didn't seem like much of an option to me.

I didn't know if you guys had a way back. Elly was already set on going to find you, so chaperoning them seemed like a better use of my time than twiddling my thumbs back in Tokyo-F.

[Yeah somewhere in the middle of that explanation, Intensity is going to yank Izumu closer and kiss him again.

he grips Intensity's shoulder, giving back as good as he gets, absorbed enough in the kiss to forget where they are for a moment. ]

[Surely it's not too strange for people to just start making out in a restaurant/bar. Or if it is, no one complains overtly to their face. After Intensity's little emotional outburst subsides, he pulls back completely.

[Lazily trails a finger atop his drink glass until it makes a soft humming sound.

It's like he knows that he should head out, but he's lingering for some reason.

[ Izumu likewise doesn't seem in a hurry for either of them to go anywhere, just sitting quietly and taking another long drink.

but after a stretch of silence, he'll finally speak up. ]

Myself, Kohime, Requiem and John were the four to not ally with a host or producer after the jail break.

Requiem joined up with Hurricane and Nemesis shortly thereafter.

And John... does whatever the fuck he wants.

So Kohime and I have been working together in the meantime.
