Most vampires are where I come from. We're all born the same as anyone else.

Well close enough. A pureblood's pregnancy can last anywhere from two to five years.
[ Ugh...]
Humans and vampires can have children together too-- though in that case the child's vampire genes will dominate and they'll also be born a vampire.
