...I talked some about what happened in jail, then asked to hear what she'd seen firsthand. She said about two sentences that skipped over literally everything to do with the angel or holy water or anything useful.
Obviously, I got annoyed. Then she got annoyed, and told me I was scared, and that I wanted to go back to Tokyo-F, and that I was just upset she'd done something instead of sitting around, and that kind of thing. And that I should just be happy we were here and go off and do whatever I wanted without worrying about it, basically.
So... we yelled at each other a bit. And then she told me she had better things to do, like running a mission against demons or whatever, and left.
...It's not like I totally don't understand where she's coming from. She saw an opportunity and made a call to take action. That's what happened, and there's no point in people questioning it after the fact.
But she can't pretend that I can just go off and do something useful myself without knowing anything about it.
Sure, but you and Requiem already told me a lot of it. And I told her that. I just wanted to hear it first hand and from her perspective. So she was just stonewalling me for no reason.
Well, that's her decision. But if it comes down to it, and I could have helped with something that I didn't know was happening, or if I have to make a decision and I don't know a key piece of information because she felt like being obstinate, it will be her fault if we all end up in an Extermination Water hot tub or something. And I won't let that go.
[That seems to surprise her, and there's a beat of pause before she responds. When she does, her lips press against his without escalating the kiss, but her whole body sort of lists closer to him.]
